Awards Ceremony during Brunch at Bourré following 10:30 AM Mass at St. Nicholas
On Sunday, April 7, the parish will host its Third Annual Awards program. The event honors the last year's Parishioners of the Month and the members of the Bedloe Society. The Parishioners of the Month are nominated by the Pastoral Council for their exemplary dedication to the Catholic Church in Atlantic City. The Bedloe Society is named after Thomas Bedloe, a Catholic businessman from the earliest days of the Church's history in the city and recognizes parishioners who gave more than $5,000 to the parish in the previous calendar year. The purpose of the event is to thank our most dedicated parishioners and inspire others to follow their example.
Parishioners can support these goals by attending the 10:30 AM Mass at St. Nicholas and the brunch immediately following it. Honorees will be invited for a photograph in front of the altar at the Mass and will receive their awards at the brunch. The brunch is at Bourré, a newly opened restaurant at 201 S. New York Avenue, only a block from St. Nicholas and part of the city's trendy new "Orange Loop." The brunch buffet is sure to please every taste. Tickets are $35. You can purchase tickets at the Welcome Centers on the weekend or at the parish office during the week.
